Customer Service Representative

American Way Storage, LLC Job Description Position: Customer Service Representative American Way Storage is a growing self-storage company located in Central Illinois, and we are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team.
The Customer Service Representative will provide administrative and operational support to the Area Manager to help oversee operations and handle all leasing activities for our multiple facilities in Central Illinois.
Candidate will be expected to respond to all phone calls within 24 hours.
Must be independent and self-driven, demonstrate good people skills, excellent communication skills, and strong work ethic.
Candidate will need to be available for some weekend hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to): * Communicate with and answer questions for prospective customers * Maximize conversion of telephone inquiries into paying rental customers * Oversee and collect delinquent rents * Assist the Area Manager as requested.
* Any projects or additional duties as requested QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred * Good communication and time management skills * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF * Ability to learn and use storage software * Access to a reliable automobile, cell phone with calling and texting capabilities, and access to Wi-Fi – REQUIRED * Willing to work very hard, and flexible schedule as needed COMPENSATION: Hourly, non-exempt position – pay commensurate with experience Potential for additional bonus pay Job Type: Part-time Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.
