Dieterich Bank is looking for a Central Loan Processor to add to our corporate team in Effingham, IL.
The Central Loan Processor is responsible for producing accurate loan documents on a timely basis.
This position is in charge of examining loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with existing underwriting guidelines and inputs and updates loan data.
Essential Duties:
Use loan policy and approval information to understand what documentation is necessary to produce various types of loans.
Request and obtain any documentation that is missing and necessary for the loan.
Produce loan documents accurately and in a timely manner by using LaserPro, Core Director, Synergy, and other Bank programs.
Communicate with branch staff to ensure documents are accurate.
Set up documents tracking lists for commercial real estate loans.
Explain terms and conditions of loans when necessary.
Interact with customers in a positive, efficient manner.
Notify the relevant parties when the loan processing is complete.
Exercise some judgment within company guidelines.
Monitor and ensure closing dates and company deadlines.
File and organize all incoming and outgoing documents.
Secondary Duties:
Assist in the training of new employees.
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associates degree or higher in business, finance, or related field preferred
Experience in the banking or financial industry is a plus
Work Schedule:
This position requires 40 hours each week with work generally being completed between 8 a.
m.
and 5 p.
m.
There is limited travel to a couple of training sessions each year.
